You see it on most Web pages, either 'Send to a friend' or 'Tell a friend'. Many Websites use this wonderful marketing technique to build their communities. A Website is like any other community, in that it expands via word of mouth. One friend tells another, who tells another, who tells another, until your community has begun to grow exponentially.

Sites like 'Facebook' are incredibly popular and well visited because their visitors tell others about them. You know yourself that you are more likely to use a specific service or buy a particular product that has been recommended to you by someone you know. The new Web is all about rank and recommendation. A 'Tell a friend' feature supports both.
